About Us
At Twelve28Gives, our story begins with Landon. On December 28, 2018, while on a family ski trip, he experienced his very first seizure. What began as an ordinary drive quickly became a life-changing moment that led to his epilepsy diagnosis just weeks later.
Since that day, our family’s journey has been shaped by the challenges, fears, and strength that come with living with epilepsy. While epilepsy is Landon’s diagnosis, it affects all of us who love him. It has taught us that awareness, education, and support are vital—not only for those living with epilepsy, but also for their families and communities.
Twelve28Gives was created to bring hope, resources, and understanding to families facing epilepsy. Inspired by Landon’s resilience, we are committed to raising awareness, providing tools for safety, and reminding others that even in the hardest moments, no one walks this journey alone.

Our
Story
On December 28, 2018, life changed forever for our founder, Landon Mohr. That was the day he experienced his first seizure. What began as a frightening and confusing moment quickly grew into an ongoing journey with epilepsy—a journey marked by challenges, uncertainty, and resilience. Instead of letting epilepsy define him, Landon chose to transform his experience into a purpose greater than himself. Out of that determination, Twelve 28 Gives was born. The name itself is a reflection of that pivotal day—December 28th. It serves as a constant reminder of where the journey began and why this mission matters so deeply. Twelve 28 Gives was created to stand as a beacon of hope for others living with epilepsy, proving that even in life’s most difficult moments, we can find ways to inspire, uplift, and give back.
